Honestly I need help in all the areas. 🤦🏾♀️ I would love to work with you in lowering my cholesterol ( specifically my LDL). I went from weighing 260 pounds to now weighing roughly 140lbs. I also don’t eat anywhere near how I used to and for some reason my lab works shows an increase of LDL levels with the last 3 to 4 test results. I was so bummed thinking I was on the right track with eating and exercising (not consistently but present). The weird thing is my HDL and Triglycerides are great thank God. Just the LDL needs improvement. There has to be an underlying “issue” that I’m not aware of. I eat 3 meals a day and snack, I don’t fry in my home but I do eat fried foods very sparingly when on a date night or something, I eat oatmeal with nut butter, fruit unsweetened almond milk for breakfast like almost every morning, I eat pork sparingly, switched to olive & avocado oil from canola and more. I just don’t understand. Please can you help? I want to work one on one or get coaching. I did schedule a free consultation that’s not til later in the month. I’ve been watching your videos and they’ve been very helpful!

… I don’t know what else to do. I make mostly everything from scratch. I eat a lot of Whole Foods and have been working out more the past six months than I have in years and now my cholesterol is high… 😅
A lot of things play a role in increasing cholesterol, not just food. It can be such a headache!! Definitely see if you can speak with a dietitian to help you get to the root cause of what could be elevating yours.

I haven't finished watching your video yet but I want to ask you: these recommendations (which I agree with and I am a firm believer in health through food and exercise before meds) would be for a 'normal' high cholesterol situation, but what about like in my case, it came about because of menopause? How do these recommendations work when estrogen is about absent? I used for a little while the patch (HRT) but my obgyn said it would not really help with cholesterol, so no help there. Your opinion? While HRT may not help with cholesterol, focusing on a heart-healthy diet, regular exercise, and managing stress can still make a big difference. How can I prevent body itching after taking Niacin ??
This is very common! You may have to decrease the dosage but please consult with your doctor about this question so they can provide you with personalized recommendations! Sometimes niacin is t a good option for SOME individuals. Hope this helps! 😊

That's great! You can find all these things in food. Which I have many videos on.
All of my cholesterol is perfect except for my LDL, which is about 90 points too high. I'm getting ready to have it tested again to see if it's changed from last year. I've been supplementing with many of these you mentioned, plus citrus bergamot and policosanol.
Best of luck! Be sure to also keep your saturated fat intake less than 10% of your calories, and fiber between 25-35 grams. Best of luck!! :)

In 2015 the A.M.A. quietly stated that cholesterol DOES NOT cause heart disease !!! Catch up people. They also say salt doesn't cause hypertension too.

I ate a red rice yeast pill and omega 3 1000 gr 2 x a day, but now I’ll have more raspberries and blackberries and oatmeal as I already used crushed flax seeds in everything. I managed to reduce my cholesterol but don’t get why I have it so high as I eat all those things! Anyway il try more soluble fiber.
ensure you’re eating the rice portions of these things too! I find that some of my patients eat chia seeds, raspberries, etc, but in small amounts. For example, they’ll have 4 raspberries on their yogurt, whereas you need to eat 1 cup to get at least 8 grams of fiber. Also, consistency is key. Getting at least 25-38 grams of fiber a day is a common recommendation for adults. Be sure to consult with your doctor/dietitian before making any changes 😊 best of luck!
In no way shape or form am I a physician. Also, I have no ties commercially with ANY supplements.. Not saying this will work for EVERYONE, all I can speak on is myself.. For a whole month(30 days), I took a supplement called Cholesterol Health. Bought it on Amazon.. **>[Once again...These are MY FINDINGS...]<** When I started, my total Cholesterol was at 237. At the end of the month, it was at 194...

My Cholesterol level is about 240. My friend has a similar cholesterol level. My Doctor wants me to take a statin. Yet… my friend’s Doctor said that she is fine. What is your opinion on a safe Cholesterol level?!😊
To not take statin medication it causes dementia. My cholesterol is over 300 and my heart doctor told me not to take statins at all. You would be just fine.
It’s always up to the doctors clinical evaluation and professional experience. Some doctors will recommend nutrition and lifestyle changes BEFORE medication, and others will recommend medication right away, especially if they feel like the patient may not be compliant/consistent with nutrition and lifestyle changes. This is just one of many reasons but definitely not the only. Ultimately, the final say is truly up to the doctor and patients discretion.

I'm desperate to get off of the statins that my PCP put me on as a 'preventive'. It's been detrimental to my memory and I'm sure other issues as well. My Endo was surprised to see that my PCP has me on the highest dosage, though I cook moderate to low fat, using olive & avocado oil. I also use butter since margarines are horribld and taste revolting! I'll be speaking to my Endo about going on a Keto (modified) diet to seriously lower my carbs and get myself off of insulin and metformin (one step at a time).
Gratitude for the information. I'm here because none of my doctors have recommended any methods to lower cholestrol unless it was by way of meds. It's their greed. They want us to continue to mask syntomps to keep us coming back rather than us being healed. I decided to search for healthier methods to get off synthetic temporary methods .

Right and I told my Doc about using natural alternatives because the meds either didn't work or cause issues themselves. Like statins make my body ache. I eat Greek yogurt and fermented foods for acid reflux. The meds didn't work but eating yogurt and sauerkraut works fantastically!!!
